Lewistown, IL - Wanda Lee Poppenhager, 99, of Lewistown passed away at 1:44 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2012, at Renaissance Care Center in Canton.
Wanda was born November 20, 1912 in Astoria, a daughter of Don and Grace Waggoner Howard. She married Wayne H. Poppenhager. He preceded her in death in 1981.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Marshall "Pete" Howard and Kenneth Howard; and one sister, Pauline Howard.
Surviving are two sons, Jack (Joan) Poppenhager and Roger Poppenhager; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and was one of the original employees at Bob's Dairy Dipper in Astoria.
Interment will be in Summum Cemetery in Summum.
