Abraham H. Van Ness
Abraham H. Van Ness of 257 West Chestnut Street, died Tuesday (November 24, 1959), in Benedictine Hospital. He was a funeral director associated with the M. A. Galietta Funeral Home. He was a member of the Catskill Mountain Funeral Directors Association, and the Wallkill Engine Company of Middletown. He had resided in Kingston the last 27 years. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Styles; two daughters, Mrs. Albert Maggiore,
of Kingston, and Mrs. Floyd Halwick of Lake Katrine; one son. First Lieut. Norman Van Ness, Fort Rucker, Ala.; one sister, Mrs. Roy Leeman of Middletown, and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Galietta Funeral Home. 650 Delaware Avenue at Broadway. Interment will be in Wallkill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 p. m. and 7 to 9 p. m.
