Mrs. Geraldine Ingram Kelley, age 88, of Villa Rica, Ga., passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012 after a courageous 12 year battle with Parkinson's disease. She was born February 16, 1924 in Marietta, Ga., the daughter of the late Robert Lee Ingram and Celeste Duel Gaston Ingram. Mrs. Kelley was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Wilson Kelley; son, John Phillip Kelley; brothers, George, Harold, Horace and Ike Ingram; sisters, Lillian Dobbs, Hazel Kirk, Jewell Barron, Ozella Dupree, Katie Hartman and Emma Chastain. Survivors include her children, Tommie & Janice Kelley of Winston, Terry & Linda Kelley of Holland, Ohio and Danny & Janet Kelley of Douglasville; brother, Joe Ingram of Macon, Ga; loving nieces and nephews; also 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 11 AM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Bro. Gary Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Stripling Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5 PM until 8 PM. Messages of condolences may be sent to the family at www.martin-hightower.com. Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel of Carrollton has charge of the arrangements.
