She was born Dec. 15, 1916, in Pauls Valley, the daughter of Cecil and Oda Ivy.
Owen graduated form Wynnewood High School.
She married John Owen on Oct. 7, 1934. He preceded her in death on July 31, 1991.
Owen was owner and operator of Ford's Beauty Shop. She was a member of the Shawnee Cartwright High Noon BPW group for many years.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Sue and Dewayne Beggs of Norman, Aleva and Frank Farmer of Phoenix, Ariz., and Jeanne and Bud Powell of Trophy Club, Texas; a sister and brother-in-law, Sue and J.C. Kime of Chickasha; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Sam and Carolyn Neal of Pauls Valley and Joe and Della Neal of Midland, Texas; three grandchildren, Kelly Cornelison, David Cornelison and Darrell D. Heck; and five great-grandchildren.
A service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Faith Assembly of God in Norman with the Rev. John Gifford officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are being handled by Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.
