To Charlie Burkhead
Charlie Burkhead, 55 year old resident of the Concord Lane, died at his home about midnight last night of a sudden heart attack. Although he had been in bad health for the past few months, his death last night was not expected.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Keightley Funeral Home Monday at 1:30 p.m. with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Maggie Burkhead; five children, Mrs. G. W. Faughn, Mrs. Damon Adams, Mrs. Homer Keen, Eugene Burkhead and William Earl Burkhead, all of the city. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Raymer of Bowling Green, and Mrs. Nellie Van Camp of Louisville, and a brother, Ray Burkhead of Caneyville.
Mr. Burkhead was a member of the First Baptist Church.
