Married to Mary Lavina Lee (1865) and Mary Ann Davis (1873).∼MOULTON - Near Heber City, Wasatch Co., Utah, January 14, 1883, of typhoid fever, William Denton Moulton, aged 24.

Brother Moulton was born in Irchester North Hamptonshire, England July 17, 1843. He was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Feb. 1855, and was a zealous and able supporter of the principles of truth while in his native land, and left England in the company of his parents in 1856.

Having joined the saints in Florence he assisted in drawing a handcart across the plains through must distress and suffering in Capt. Wyley's, reaching the valley in the fall of 1856.

He resided for a number of years with parents in Provo City. He drove a team to the Platt in 1868, and returned with a company of saints and in 1871 wintered with the early settlers of St. George, doing all in his power to encourage and assist in it's settlement.

Returning the next spring he with his father and others of the family assisted in pioneering and settling the Provo Valley, where he afterwards married and settled down.

In 1872 he oved with his family to "Moulton Ranch" nine miles north of Heber City and when the Ontario Mine was discovered and began to develop he supplied the same with beef and other articles, by means of pack horses, and so faithfully did he perform all his labors and fulfill all his promises with the company, that he continued in the same business until his death, having by his industry and perseverance, establish a permanent business.

Brother Moulton was a faithful Latter-day Saint, a true friend to the poor, being charitable to a fault, and was respected by all who were privileged to know him.

He leaves a family of two wives and and eight children, with a host of relatives and friends to mourn is loss.
