Fred L. Hinckley Dies
Fred L. Hinckley, 78, father of Detective Sergeant Erwin H. Hinckley, died at 11:30 p.m. Friday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Edna Finnie, in Emerado, N.D., where he had been visiting the past month. He had lived at 2101 North Sixteenth street here.
A retired silver plater and cabinet maker, Hinckley had lived in Omaha 32 years. He came here from Aurora, Ill., where he had been a member of a military drill organization which traveled about the country giving exhibitions. He had been active in the Masonic lodge.
Surviving also are two other daughters, Mrs. Clara H. Coffman, Winnebago, Neb., and Mrs. Grace E. Grant, Glencoe, Ill.
The body will be brought to Brailey and Dorrance mortuary here.
