Services for Blanche Phipps Anderson of Sheridan will be held at 2 pm Tuesday in the chapel of Macy & Son.
Private interment will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Dayton.
Mrs. Anderson died Jan 1, 1998 in Sheridan Care Center. She was born Oct 10, 1906, in Hale, Mo., the daughter of Aaron and Blanche Harbaugh Macklin. She was raised and educated in Hale and became a member of the Hale Christian Church in 1916.
She and Orlando Phipps were married on April 4, 1926 in Carrollton, Mo. Mr. Phipps receded her in death in November 1952.
She moved to Oregon in 1947 and worked for 25 years for Alderman Food, Stayton Cannery and Hudson House, retiring in 1972.
She and John Anderson were married on Dec. 27, 1972 in Winnemucca, Nevada.
Mrs. Anderson had been a member of the Dayton Christisn Church since 1954. She was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 670. She participated in the senior citizens meal service in Dayton.
Survivors include two sons; Henry Phipps of Dayton and Ivan Phipps of Bend; a stepdaughter, Barbara Anderson of McMinnville; three stepsons; Charles Anderson of McMinnville, David Anderson of Nampa, Idaho and Donald Anderson of Chico, California, 13 grandchildren; and many many great grandchildren.
