Mary B. Brock (1922 - 2012)

Mary B. Brock, 89, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012. Funeral: 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist of White Settlement. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Funeral Home.

Mary was born June 23, 1922, in Roanoke. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of White Settlement since 1958, where she was an active member of the women's organization and taught Sunday school. Mary retired from the Fort Worth ISD as a cafeteria manager. She loved all sports and was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers fan. She loved her church and her family and will be missed by all. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Leon Wheeler Brock, in 2003.

Survivors: Daughters, Betty Vaughn and husband, Louis, of Cleburne, Joanne Gage of White Settlement, and Judy Allen and husband, Michael, of White Settlement; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Hebert of New Iberia, La.; brothers, Roy Luttrell of Hurst and Bobby Ray Luttrell of Magnolia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
