Loving and sweet husband of Monette, nee Torke, for 56 years; cherished father of John (Lura), Paul (Laura), Keith (Susan), and Joy (Keith) Turner; adored grandpa of Katie, Danny, Brian, Kelly, Karla, Michael, Tim, Kasey, Eric John, Kirsten, Jeff, and Michelle; fond brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to many.


Visitation Thursday from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st St., Orland Park. Lying in state Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m. at All Saints Lutheran Church, 13350 LaGrange, Orland Park.


Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.


Member of American Legion Post 769, and Electrician's Union IBEW Local 134 for 60 years.


Memorials may be made to Illinois Veterans Home of Manteno, One Veterans Drive, Manteno, IL 60950, or Hospice of Kankakee Valley, 1015 N. Fifth Ave., Suite #5, Kankakee, IL 60901.
