Bowie, Tex.(special)- Mrs. Nettie Myers, 78, a Bowie Resident for 35 years, died in a Wichita Falls hospital Friday.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Burgess Memorial Chapel here with Rev. David Garlington, pastor of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church officiating. Burail will be in Brushy Cemetery.
Mrs. Myers was a native of Kentucky, born there Oct. 16, 1887.
Survivors include three sons, Preston Myers of Sarah Lake, Texas., and Calvin Myers and Floyd Myers, both of Bowie; three daughters, Mrs. Mae Chowning, Clint, Tex., Mrs. Edna Short, Port Lavaca, and Mrs. Beulah Nichola, Holliday; a half brother, Ellis Black, Monticello, Ky., a half sister, Mrs. Rachel Sexton, Monticello, Ky; 17 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
