John Milton Cook, a retired carpenter, died of heart failure Wednesday at Hardy Wilson Hospital. Services are 10 a.m. today at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery. Stringer Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Mr. Cook was a Copiah County native. He was a longtime deacon of Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church.
Survivors include: wife, Susie; sons, Keith Cook of Crystal Springs and Lucius Cook of Jackson; sisters, Roda Martin of Crystal Springs and Marjorie Mae Sykes of Jackson; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
