Edna Belle Burgess was born in Great Falls Virginia in 1901 to Alpheus Henderson Burgess (1877-1937) and Lou Emma Milstead (1878-1964). She married Clem Thomas Farr April 25, 1916. She was survived by her husband and seven children: Hazel Walker, Margery Sweet, Helen Gardner, Gladys Beckstrom, Gertrude Gardner, and Barbara Slaughter all of Sterling Virginia and daughter Lorene Flick of Falls Church. she is also survived by two brothers Clark Burgess of Great Falls, Virginia and Nolan Burgess of Pinellis Park, Florida; 29 grand children and 44 great grand children. She was predeceased by her parents and sister Nellie Burgess Gray (1903-1966).
