Mrs. Ellis was a long time resident of Weatherford, a long standing member of Santa Fe Baptist Church. A resident of Parkview Terrace, she was well recognized at the Parker County Senior Center and participated in many of the events over the years. She was very proud to dress bears one year for abused children in connection with Parker County Child Protection. She was a member of a local Red Hat group as well as a few other organizations.
She was referred to as "Miss Evelyn" by many who knew her. She had a big heart, generous and always willing to do her part, a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. She would listen to others problems and be that shoulder to cry on whenever it was needed. A dear lady who will be sorely missed,
