Herald Coaster, January 25, 2001:

Edgar Ernest Klingle, 69, died Jan. 18, 2001 as the result of a heart attack. He was a veteran of the Korean War and resided in Beasley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Alma Klingle; one sister, Margine Pustka; and one brother, Curtis Klingle.

He is survived by five sisters and their spouses, Waldine White of Cleveland, Gertrude Callaway of Brenham, Darlene and Delphine Oelschleger of Spicewood, Laura and Walter Jakubik of Canyon Lake, Carolyn and Allan Albrecht of Richmond; and one sister-in-law, Cora Lee Klingle of Beasley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside services were performed by Garmany and Carden Funeral Home. Burial was at the Beasley Friedens United Church of Christ Cemetery on Jan. 20.
