Jeffrey Lee Nowka, 57, of Oklahoma City, OK passed away, Saturday, April 7, 2012. He was born September 2, 1954 in Chickasha, OK, son of the late Bob and Lou Nowka. He grew up in Del City and graduated from Crooked Oak High School, Oklahoma City. He was a 25 year employee of FedEx. Jeff loved gardening, fishing and his dogs. He is survived by his wife of 21, years, Janice (Wilson) Nowka; two daughters, Amber Clark and husband, Jake, of Texas; Jessica Orlicek and husband, Jason of Arkansas; five grandsons, Conner, Cale and Cody Clark and Luke and Kade Orlicek; sister, Bobbi Parker and husband Keith; brother, Jim Nowka and wife, Jenny; niece, Randi and nephew, Kyle Parker, nephews, Justin and Jamen Nowka. A Memorial Service will be held at 2pm Monday, April 9, 2012 at St. Charles Catholic Church, Oklahoma City. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 9:00AM until 12:30PM at Freeman Harris Funeral Home. A Graveside Services will follow at 2pm in Calvary Cemetery, 91st & Harvard, Tulsa, OK. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and/or the Central Oklahoma Humane Society, 7500 N. Western, OKC OK 73116 for Jeff's love of Animals.
