Harman, W. Va. - Mrs. Dressie Ava (Arbogast) Lambert, 57, a native of Pendleton County, and resident of Harman for the past 35 years, died at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg following an extended illness.

Mrs. Lambert was born, August 5, 1913 in Cherry Grove, a daughter of the late Esau and Rebecca (Arbogast) Arbogast.

She was married to Vernie Lambert who survives.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Lambert is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Calvin Parsons of Harman, and Mrs. Fred Wolford of Scio, Ohio; two brothers, Russell Arbogast of Harman and Eberry Arbogast of Thomas; six half brothers, Ezra Grogg of Harman; Clarence Grogg of Staunton, Va.; Price Grogg of Scio, Ohio; Cleve Arbogast of Vanderpool, Va.; and Leonard and Arch Arbogast of Cherry Grove; and three half sisters, Mrs. Lura Bennett, Mrs. Minnie Arbough and Mrs. Maggie Bennett, all of Cherry Grove; 6 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mrs. Lambert was a member of the Dry Fork Assembly of God Church.

The body is at John W. Lohr Funeral Home, Elkins.
