Netta Jane Lamunyon or Nettie as her family called her, was born in Worth County Missouri. She was the only daughter amoung many sons of Thomas J and Susannah woods Lamunyon. Nettie Married Albert H Riggs in December 1885 in Allen County Kansas. She gave birth to two children, girls, Bertha and Effie. Nettie's brother James Wm Lamunyon was married to Nettie's husband,s sister Martha Jane Riggs. Both Nettie and Martha Jane died of Typhoid Fever. First Martha in July of 1889 then Nettie in Sept 1889. Nettie's girls Bertha was only 3 years old and her sister Effie was 2 years old. Two years after Nettie's death her husband Albert Riggs married Viola Hunsaker and had 4 more girls, Florence, Ida, Deema and Fern. These are the facts as told to me by Bertha Riggs Dysart, which is my grandmother.
