Sherrie Lee Ryer, born June 7, 1954, of St. Charles, MO (formerly Bloomfield, CT) passed away quietly on the evening of March 6, 2012 after a short illness. She is survived by her father Luther Lee Hendricks of Rocky Hill, CT, her two sons, James Byron Ryer of Arlington, VA and Shawn David Ryer of East Windsor, CT, four grand children, Amanda, Christopher, Josh and Abigail, one great grand daughter, Jenna, a step-sister, half brother and half sister. Sherrie touched many lives with her gentle kindness and positive outlook on life during her battle with lung cancer. It was her wish that upon her passing the following be said of her, "I lived, I loved, I laughed often, now you do the same."
A memorial service will be held in her honor at the St. Charles Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2245 S Old Highway 94, St. Charles, MO at 7 p.m. on March 15. Her remains will be buried and her grave dedicated by her son James at 10:30 a.m. on April 14 at the Mountain View Cemetery in Bloomfield, CT. hartford county
