Albert Raymond Uhl, Jr. was the son of Albert Raymond & Gertrude (Gruber) Uhl, husband of Miriam E. (Everson) Uhl.

UHL, JR., ALBERT R., 73, of Marmora, died Tuesday, June 11, 2002 at his home.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he had lived in Ocean City, before moving to Marmora in 1982.
He was a veteran of World War II, and the Korean Conflict having served with the United States Navy. During the Korean Conflict, he served on the U.S.S. Taussig D.D. 746.
Mr. Uhl worked as the Field Engineer for Bickley Furnace Company in Bristle, PA for ten years, and then for Drever Furnace Company in Huntington Valley, PA for 40 years before his retirement in 1996.
He is survived by his wife, Miriam E. Uhl, of Marmora, four daughters, Linda K. Bacheler, of St. Peter Beach, FL, Carole A. Uhl, of Marmora, Cheryl L. Linder, and Lori S. Lee, both of Ocean City, a son, Albert R. Uhl, III, of Boca Raton, FL, and six grandchildren.
His funeral service will be offered Friday afternoon at three o'clock from The Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 S. Shore Rd., Palermo, where friends may call from two o'clock until the time of service. Burial will be Saturday in Seaside Cemetery, Palermo.
The family suggests those who desire send memorial contributions to Covenant Life Christian Fellowship, 3044 Shore Road, PO Box 1012, Marmora, NJ 08223.
