Robert Beeler was born in Grainger County, Tennessee, April 30, 1838, and after a lingering illness passed from this life at his home in Newton County, Missouri, Sunday, March 2, 1924, aged 85 years, 11 months and 28 days. Mr. Beeler was united in marriage to Miss Penelope Shelton on November 13, 1861. To this union was born 15 children. He leaves a wife and 7 children He leaves a wife and 7 children, 82 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn their loss.

Brother Beeler was converted, baptized and joined the Baptist Church about 1858. It is sad to give him up bet he longed to be with his Redeemer and he realized that it was truly his gain to depart and be with Jesus. Never again will be speak or come to us here; but we can profit by his example in following Christ, and then go to him.

The tender sympathies of this and other communities are extended those sorrowing ones in their bereavement. May the God of joy and sorrow comfort those sorrowing loved ones.
