Cara enjoyed being outdoors especially when she could fish and camping out in front of her garage with family and friends. She also was an avid motorcycle rider and she and Jason were members of the Dallas H.O.G. group, Chapter 1869. One story earned her the nickname, 'Cappy' after she lost Jason's gas cap off his motorcycle. She and Jason, participated in the Motorcops for Kids toy drive each year, an activity that was in keeping with Cara's generous spirit and natural gift of helping others.
