Deborah S. Colley 45 of Grain Valley, Mo. passed away Friday, April 6, 2012 surrounded in love by her family. A Celebration of Deborah's life will be 11:00 Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Blue Ridge Boulevard United Methodist Church 5055 Blue Ridge Boulevard, Kansas City, Mo. 64133. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Monday April 9, 2012 at the Meyers Funeral Chapel 1600 W. Main St. Blue Springs, Mo. 816-229-3276. Deborah was born August 7, 1966 in Kansas City, Mo. the daughter of Roger Owen and Sandra Sue (Truman) McConnell. She attended Blue Ridge Boulevard United Methodist Church. She was a 1984 graduate of Raytown High School, and a 1988 graduate of accounting from the University of Central Missouri Warrensburg. She worked for the Bank of America. Deborah loved her children, and her pets. She enjoyed scrapbooking, sewing, playing bunko with friends, and spending time at the lake. She was preceded in death by her father Roger McConnell in 2004.
Survivors include her children of the home Scott and Sarah Colley, her mother Sandy McConnell of Blue Springs, MO., and brother Mark Owen McConnell of Olathe, KS.
