Obituary---

Mollie Atkeson was born in Cooper County, Missouri, May 12, 1868; died at Carl Junction, Missouri, March 26, 1931,aged 62 years, 10 months and 14 days.

At the age of 11 years she moved with her parents to Labette County, Kas., where they resided two years; then came to Jasper County, where she was united in marriage to Martin Wilcox in 1884. To this union was born six children, two of whom died in infancy. The husband passed away in 1906.

Mrs. Wilcox is survived by two daughters:Mrs. C.H. Buchanan of Carl Junction and Mrs. T.O. Beck of Pittsburg; two sons: Corbett F. Wilcox of Venice,Cal., and Kinley R. Wilcox of Pittsburg, two sisters: Mrs. Lee Mabry of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Roy Montgomery of Biggsville, Ill.; three brothers: W.H. Atkeson of Waco, J.B. Atkeson of Washburn, Mo., and T.L. Atkeson of Shidler, Okla., nine grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Wilcox was a member of Carl Junction Rebekah lodge;Royal Neighbors and the Women's Relief Corps.

Funeral services were held at the M.E.Church of this city, Monday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. H.H. St.Louis,pastor.

Interment in the city cemetery.
