Ruth L. Crew, 84, of Johnson City, passed away Wednesday morning, October 15, 2003, at the Rivermede Manor Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her husband, Sam; her parents, Eugene and Iva Shaver; one sister and four brothers; and a special niece, Mickey Kitchin. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. She was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary Fraternal Order of Eagles #2664, Johnson City, and the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 2332, Johnson City.
Funeral services will be held at the Tower of Memories Chapel at Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Friday at 2:30 p.m. Arrangements are by the J.F. Rice Funeral Home Inc., 150 Main Street, Johnson City, N.Y.
