Ann M. (Scanlon) Kilpatrick, 83, of Quincy, passed away April 4, 2012 at South Shore Hospital. Visiting hours will be Thursday, April 12 from 4-8 p.m. at the Hamel, Wickens & Troupe Funeral Home, 26 Adams St., Quincy Center. Funeral Mass will be Friday, April 13 at 10 a.m. in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1015 Sea St., Houghs Neck. Ann Dalton Kilpatrick, 83, of Quincy, passed away April 4, 2012, at South Shore Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late William P. Dalton Sr., who died in 1978, and Sgt. Major Calvin E. Kilpatrick, U.S. Marine Corps (retired), who died in 2006. A lifelong Quincy resident, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Mary (Connolly) Scanlon. Ann worked for many years in the food service department at Jordan Hospital in Plymouth before retiring in 1992. Mrs. Kilpatrick was a member of the Viking Club, Stenkil Lodge 92, and enjoyed dancing and crocheting sweaters and other items for her family. She relished her trips to Foxwoods with her friends and neighbors from 1000 Southern Artery, and especially enjoyed the happy times spend with her beloved family. She was the loving mother of William P. Dalton and his wife Terri of Braintree, Mary Ann McIntosh and her husband Stephen of Weymouth, Patricia M. Rega of Abington and Valerie J. Michaelangelo and her husband Larry of Quincy; cherished grandmother of Stephen, Heather and Gregory McIntosh, Danielle, Jeffrey and Allyson Rega, Sean Dalton and his wife Kerri and Colleen and Brendon Dalton; great-grandmother of Andrew, Patrick and Abigail McIntosh, and was eagerly anticipating the arrival of her fourth greatgrandchild, a boy, due in August.- Her funeral, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held Friday, April 13, at 9 a.m. from the Hamel, Wickens & Troupe Funeral Home, 26 Adams St., Quincy Center, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1015 Sea St., Houghs Neck. Interment will be private. Visiting hours Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
