Mrs. Sara (Sadie) Dora, was born the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles LaChapelle at Malone, New York and departed this life at her home in Grant township February 5th 1959 at the age of 80 years.
She was united in marriage on April 13th 1893 to Alex Dora and to this union were born 10 children, eight of whom survive: Mrs. Magdelin Lynch of Clare, Mrs. Lily Rousch of Lansing, Miss Helen Dora of Flint, Fred Dora of Winn, Mrs. Delia Fitzpatrick of Beavrton, Mrs. Josephine Wentworth of Rosebush, Morice of Mt. Morris, and Mrs. Mable Wentworth of Rosebush.
Also surviving are 48 grandchildren and 94 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday February 9th with a Requiem High Mas at St. Cecilia's church and the burial was in the church cemetery.
