Darrell Klinker, 80, of Crystal River, Fla., who was born in Edgerton, died July 31 at home.

Klinker, who retired from the Army as a lieutenant colonel, served in World War II and the Korean War. He belonged to Disabled American Veterans Suncoast Chapter 139, VFW Homosassa Chapter, Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and Shrine. He was a Methodist.

Surviving are his wife, Lela; sons, Joseph of Orlando, Fla., and Thomas of Warren, Mich.; daughter, Linda Borton of Rochester Hills, Mich.; brothers, Roger of Woodburn and Major of Payne, Ohio; sister, Hollis Grabner of Woodburn; and four grandchildren.

Services were in Florida.
