Greenville News - December 19, 1928, Page 5

Funeral services for Mrs. Julia Capps, 72, whose death occurred Sunday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. P. Summey of the Camp Road, will be held from the Paris Mountain Holiness Church this morning at 11 o'clock, Rev. J. W. Kelly officiating. Interment will be made in the adjoining church cemetery.

Six grandsons of Mrs. Capps will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Capps was a native of upper Greenville County, but has resided with her daughter for 15 years. She was a devout Christian woman, ever ready to lend a helping hand to those in sorrow and distress, and was a member of the Eden Holiness Baptist Church.

Surviving are five daughters: Mrs. W. P. Summey of Greenville; Mrs. W. B Aiken, Union; Mrs. T. B. Sizemore, Greenville; Mrs. Fred Robinson, Spartanburg; and Mrs. Tempy Perkins, Largo, Florida. One brother, J. W. Burns of St. Louis, Missouri.

Mrs. Capps was the widow of the late Harrison E. Capps, who passed away 38 years ago.
