Dale H. Onnen, 81, of David City died Thursday April 5, 2012 at the Butler County Health Care Center. Dale was born on May 23, 1930 in David City to Herman A. and Marie D. (Siffering)Onnen.

Dale graduated from David City High School and has farmed on the family farm all of his life.

Dale married Jean Root on July 1, 1951 at Zion Lutheran Church, Garrison, NE and three daugthers were born to this union.

Survivors are: wife: Jean Onnen, Daughters and their children: Cindy (Wayne) Divis, Nikki Divis and sons Branden and Kale of Lincoln; Angie (Jason) Blacketer of Dorchester, Wayne, Jr (Amy) of Lincoln; Shelley Lewis, Malinda (John) Crouse of Archer City, TX; Teri (Clff) Prochaska, Krissi (Rob) Johnson, Samantha (Nick) Ziemba all of Columbus.

Dale was preceded in death by: parents, brother, Richard Onnen, sisters: Lucille Hutchinson and Elinor Wondercheck; grandson: Kenneth "Matthew" Lewis.

Burial was in the David City Cemetery, David City, NE.
