F.I. MIRTS DIES SUNDAY AFTERNOON:
Stroke Suffered By Callaway Farmer Proves Fatal:

Franklin Isaac Mirts, age 67, died Sunday afternoon at his farm home five miles south of Fulton, Missouri. He suffered a stroke of paralysis nineteen months ago and had never completely recovered.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at Mt. Carmel Church with the Reverend Marshall Guthrie officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Mirts was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Fulton.

Mr. Mirts was born February 23, 1880, and was a son of the late John and Margaret Jane Mirts.

He spent his entire life on the farm where he died. He was married October 23, 1907 to Miss Virginia Grant Olsen, who with two children, Clarence E. of the home and Mrs. T. Kennett of Hatton, Missouri survive him as do two grandchildren and one brother, J.H. Mirts of Fulton.

Dr. Lloyd E. Hutchens, of Fulton, pronounced death caused by Gastric Carcinoma contributed to by Metastatic Lung and Gallbladder. Informant was Mrs. Frank I. Mirts of Fulton.

Franklin was born February 23, 1880, in Virginia, the son of John and Martha Jane (Allen) Mirts. He married Virginia Olsen and she survives of the home. Franklin was a farmer.

Arrangements were under the direction of Wallace Funeral Home of Fulton and burial was in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
