Lorin Jay Barnson, 60, of Monroe, Utah, passed away April 5, 2012, in Richfield,Utah. He was born May 8, 1951, in Richfield, Utah, to Lorin J and LaVell Dickinson Barnson. He married Cynda Lou Parsons, July 30, 1970, later divorced. He married Alberta Sue Chappell Olcott, April 27, 1990. She preceded him in death May 6, 2000. Jay married Joyce Barney Robinson, December 28, 2000.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce, Monroe; children: McCall (Gail) Dunn, Cade (Emily) Barnson, Haley Barnson (Matt Bassett), Derrick Barnson, Jamie Robinson, Christopher (Kellie) Robinson, Patrick Robinson, Matthew Robinson; 11 grandchildren; mother, LaVell Dickinson Barnson (Lee R) Jensen; sisters, Rainie (Ron) Mills, Carolyn Hasoppe.
Preceded in death by father; step-son, Clifton; brother-in-law, Manny Hasoppe.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. in Monroe Stake Center, 140 S. Main.
