Eda L. Knotts
Eda L. Knotts, 86, Beaver Falls, died Sunday, Aug. 31, 1986, in the Medial Center of Beaver County.
Born March 5, 1900, in Stumptown, W. Va., she was a daughter of the late Levi Homer and Bertha Stump. A former tax collector in Eastvale, she was a member of First Baptist Church, Beaver Falls, for over 50 years and was a member of of First Christian Church, Beaver Falls.
Surviving are three sons, Andrew Dean Knotts, Rochester; Richard E., Patterson Township, and Robert H., Salisbury, N.C.; a daughter, Mrs. Donald C. (Elizabeth) Rhodes, South Beaver Township, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Vera Barr. Parkersburg, W. Va.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bryan Knotts, Sr., on Nov 5, 1951, and a son, William Bryan Knotts, Jr., on Aug 20, 1946.
A private service was conducted today at 11 a.m. in Lutton Funeral Home, Beaver Falls, 1117 Fifth Ave., with Rev. Clifford W. Schaub, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating.
Interment followed in Beaver Falls Cemetery, Chippewa Township.
