Ruby Wisdom (1917-2012)

FARMERSVILLE - Mrs. Ruby Ruth Wisdom of Farmersville passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Hinton Nursing Home in Farmersville. She was born March 17, 1917 in Farmersville, the daughter of James Allen and Mary Ann Gibbs Wisdom. She was retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone where she was an operator and was Union Steward for the S.W. Bell Telephone in Dallas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Farmersville, graduated from Farmersville High in 1936, and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Dallas for 72 years.

She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Hurst's Fielder Baker Chapel with Dr. Bart Barber officiating and interment will be at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Farmersville. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Friday until service time.

Hurst's Fielder Baker Funeral Home Farmersville is in charge of arrangements.
