Mary L. Bartlett Haught, 83, of Meadowdale Community, died Thursday (July 13, 1995) at Fairmont General Hospital. She was born May 9, 1912 in Marion County, a daughter of the late Johnson J. Bartlett and Dora Lee Frum Bartlett.
She was a member of the H and H Chapel United Methodist Church of Meadowdale Community. She was very involved with the church and was on the building fund community. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jennings Haught Sr.
Survivors include three sons, Charles J. Haught Jr. of Petersburg; Robert B. Haught of Philadelphia and Paul David Haught of Fairmont; two daughters, Marsha Keim of Lovettsville, Va., and Delores Securro of Fairmont; 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Nola Bartlett; five brothers, Paul, Hearl, Charles, Kenneth and Junior Bartlett; and two sisters, Lena Kennedy and Nettie Gould.
Friends will be received at the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Newton Poling conducting the service. Interment will follow at the Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Westover.
