Morris died from disease of the kidney, at the age of 66 years and 3 months.

Morris's Will:
In the name of the Benevolent Father of all I Morris Beamer of the county of Carroll and state of Ohio do hereby make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other wills made by me.
Item 1st -- I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Catherine Beamer all my estate both real and personal including all my rights moneys and credits during the time she remains my widow, she paying all my just debts and funeral expenses, and if the said Catherine Beamer my wife should remain my widow during her natural life at her death all my estate both real and personal is to be equally divided between my heirs, namely, Margaret E. Sharp, William D. Beamer and Mary C. Sanders their heirs or assigns; but if she Catherine Beamer my wife should again marry I will and bequeath to her one third of my estate both real and personal as her own and the remainder of my estate is to be divided equally between my heirs above named their heirs or assigns at the time of her remarriage.
Item 2nd I hereby nominate and appoint my wife Catherine Beamer executor of this my last will and testament so long as she remains my widow and at her remarriage or death I nominate and appoint my son William D. Beamer executor of this my last will and testament hereby empowering them to adjust all claims, collect all moneys and pay all debts and discharge all duties enjoined upon and executor without any bond being required by the court.
I devise that no appraisement and no sale of my personal property be made and that the court of Probate direct the omission of the same in pursuance of the statute.
In testimony hereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 24th day of December A.D. 1884. Morris Beamer (seal)

Death--Mr. Morris Beamer, of Monroe Township, died at his home last Friday, of kidney and kindred troubles, after an acute ailment of about two weeks, at the age of 61 years and 4 days. A farmer and an honest and upright man, and excellent neighbor, and a member of the Lutheran Church. A widow and three married children survive him. His remains were interred on Sabbath day at Zion Church graveyard.
