Funeral services were Saturday in the Sheet-Love Funeral Home in Lowell for George Leary, 77, who died early Wednesday morning, Oct. 9, 1985, in the Crown Point Hospital.
Leary was a retired Ford Motor Co. mechanic.
He was born March 10, 1908, in Illinois. His wife, Roxie Hatton Leary, preceded him in death in 1975.
A [step]son, Robert Brownell, preceded him in death in 1971.
He is survived by: two [step]daughters, Mrs. Donald (Joann) Meyer, R.R.7, Greensburg and Bonnie Brownell, San Bernadino, Calif.; a [step]daughter-in-law, Cathy Brownell, Lowell; and a step-daughter, Mary Bolinger, Michigan City.
