James Lee Simons, 82, of Bruceville, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2005 at his residence. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 5 at Rosemound Cemetery with the Rev. James Haney officiating. Viewing will be 3 p.m. Visitaton with the family will follow from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 4 at Bellmead Funeral Home.
James was born Dec. 4, 1922 in Mound, Texas to Roy and Willie Pearl (Brackney) Simons. He married Juanita Kirk on March 1, 1941. James worked most of his life in some kind of law enforcement.
