Mrs. Hill was born in Bucyrus on January 11, 1924 to the late Clem and Martha J. (Lloyd) Partlow.
She retired from Peco in 1985 as a coil winder. Mrs. Hill enjoyed sewing. She was a wonderful cook and baker, known for her wonderful breads. A woman with many talents, she would take on any challenge!
She is survived by her four sons and daughter: Willard E. "Sonny" (Doris) Hill of Fountain CO, Veronica J. (William) O'Rourke of Bucyrus, Robert C. (Anna Taylor) Hill of Waverly, NY, Randall L. (Peggy) Hill of Baltimore, MD and Michael V. Hill of Galion; 13 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her former husband Willard W. Hill on September 26, 1990; son Eugene Stephen Hill; two grandchildren; brother Robert Partlow; and sister Margaret L. Partlow.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012 at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Loyd Caudill officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Galion.
Memorial contributions may be made to Windfall Emanuel United Church of Christ in care of the funeral home.
