Sue was born Dec. 22, 1951, the daughter of Bill and Nelva Lee Just. She grew up in the Manhattan area, graduated from Manhattan High School in 1969, attended Kansas State University for three years and married Charles Younkin.
Survivors include her husband, of the home in Oklahoma City; a daughter, Carley, and a son, Jeremy, both of the home; a brother, Randy Just, Oklahoma City; and grandparents, Harold and Mabel Dunham, Salina.
Mrs. Younkin was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Oklahoma City, and was a Brownie troop leader in Oklahoma City. She was a board member of IONE Branch YMCA, and was a volunteer for the March of Dimes."
