Allen Carver gave a witness statement on the CSA pension app of Mrs. Laney Brooker of Coffee County. He says he served in the same unit as her husband, Charles Brooker (b. 1822). They served in Company E 4th GA Cavalry.

he enlisted in 1863 and served until 1865 discharge in May. He served with Company E , 4th GA Cav., Clinch's Company and is buried in Griffin Cemetery of Coffee County.
