Devoted father of Kathy (Ross) Mulder, Mary Ann (Randy) Pals, Lynn (Mike) Briney, Kim (Tahar) Mettache, and Rachel (Robert) Wooley. Proud grandfather of 13; great- grandfather of 7. Dearest brother of the late Harriet Brouwers and the late Robert Anker. Visitation Saturday, April 7, 2012 from 12:00 Noon - 5:00 p.m. at the Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home, 649 E. 162nd St. (Rt. 6/159th St.) South Holland, IL. Memorial service Monday, April 9, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at First Reformed Church (15924 South Park Ave. South Holland, IL) with Rev. Matt Waterstone and Rev. Mel DeVries officiating.
