Traer Star Clipper, Friday, December 5th, 1879 page 4

Died—On Saturday, November 26th at his home, two miles east of Traer, of pleurisy, Ellsworth Worden aged I8 years, 6 months and 14 days.
Worth Worden is dead; he was a young man of much promise, has associated himself with the Sabbath school and other good influences that indicate to the outside world promise for proper bent in after life. The natural order of life is for the children to close the eyes of the parents; and, when this order in God’s providence is reversed it is the saddest duty the parent is called upon to perform. The only relief to the parent when the young unfolding principle of manhood is called away before the character is rounded out, is evidence of an interest in the better world to which he is going. Skepticism is very cold on a death bed, but as in this case, when our interest in Christ is manifested, the Christian’s hope relieves from black despair. Mr. and Mrs. Worden have more interest in Heaven now. They have the heart-felt sympathy of us all in their great affliction.
