Mrs. Thompson Rites Monday Harbor springs funeral service will be held at 9 a. m. .Monday from Holy Childhood church for Mrs. George Thompson 76, at 350 State st. who died Friday at Lockwood General Hospital after an illness of several months. Mrs. Thompson was born Catherine Marie Cruise in Ireland to Bernard and Elizabeth (Farrell) Cruise. She came to Harbor Springs nearly 50 years ago and was married Oct. 25, 1905 to George Thompson.

She was a member of the Altar Society of Holy Childhood church. Surviving are the husband; one son, George of Detroit; three daughters Mrs. Frank Conti, Brooklyn, N. Y.: Sister Laura, a nun, of Cambridge, O., Francis, of Harbor Springs and one sister in Australia. The body is at the Erwin Funeral Home where a Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday evenings. Rev. Fr. Benign Adam of Holy Childhood church will conduct services Monday and burial will follow in Lakeview cemetery.
