- He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Bradford.
- He married Anna Knapp on October 9, 1907 at Jonesboro.
- They moved from Indiana to Chicago Heights, IL where he set up a barber shop.
- They moved to Libertyville in 1918 and he enlisted in the service at Great Lakes. After 18 months, he returned to Libertyville to open a barber shop. He remained in the barber business until 1929.
- He was then employed with Abbott Laboratories until 9 months before his death. For the last 9 months of his life, he worked as a cost clerk at Fort Sheridan.

- father, living in Upland Indiana
- sister, Mrs. Ruth Pearson, Liberty Center, Indiana

- He died at Hines Memorial hospital in Maywood. He had been taken there from Condell Memorial hospital in Libertyville for specialized treatment to save him from an attack of coronary thrombosis.
