Burial will be held at West Lawn Cemetery in Cullom.

Charon was born on November 28, 1947 in Decatur, IL a daughter of Charles and Ann (Rutledge) Fields. She was raised by her dad: Glenn Olen Terrell. She married Stephen E. Edwards on August 23, 1965 at Forrest, IL. She later married Roger D. Brydon on February 17, 1994 at Cullom, IL.

She is survived by her husband: Roger D. Brydon of Cullom, IL; two sons: Scott (Kim) Edwards of Gridley, IL and Ryne Edwards of Cullom, IL; two daughters: Krista (Earl) Leman of Forrest, IL and Ashley Edwards of Cullom, IL; ten grandchildren; one brother: Sam (Joan) Terrell of Hoopeston, IL; two sisters: Becky (Ron) Terrell Hunt of Villa Grove, IL and Candy Terrell Koehl of Valparaiso, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents; her twin sister: Charlene; one son: Brian Edwards and one daughter: Kelly Edwards.

Charon was educated at Forrest-Strawn-Wing Schools. She owned and operated Charon's Place in Forrest, IL. She was a CNA at local retirement homes. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Cullom.
