RESOLUTIONS OF RESPECT
The following truly merited resolutions were adopted by the M. E. Sabbath school of this place last Sunday morning:
Whereas Almighty God, in his all wise providence, has seen fit to take away from our Church, and Sabbath School Brother F. P. Hart.
1st. Resolved, That we mourn his loss. In him our Sabbath School ever had a true and warm hearted friend who might always be found in his place in our school, whenever health permitted. The interest of the school was his interest.
2nd. Resolved, That we extend to the family our heartfelt sympathy and an interest in the prayers of the Christian workers in our school.
3rd. Resolved, That while we have lost a brother, a friend and a worker, he is not lost but gone before and is this morning waiting and watching for us.
May our lives be such that when death comes to us, we may meet him in the better land.
