According to recent email of Dodie Smith Browning, the granddaughter of Harvey & Synthia Workman Smith.

"NONE of them are buried in the Shade Smith Cemetery except Shade Smith and maybe some his family. The Shade Smith Cemetery is at Bulwark Fork of Harts Creek (Whirlwind), in back of where he lived when he died. Back in the old days, families were buried in the yard or up the hill from the house- reason there are so many little cemeteries all over Logan County! Grandpa Harve is buried in the Smith Cemetery on top of the mountain at Briar Branch (Whirlwind). Grandma Synthia Ann and my dad, Paris Smith are buried at the home place Smith Carter Cemetery at Whirlwind (Big Harts Creek). My Aunt Amanda and her husband Edward Carter Jr. are buried same place."

The problem is that the cemeteries are not listed in the given cemeteries.

There is only one Smith Cemetery listed for Whirlwind and none for Big Harts.
