Myrtle Althea Miller, 98, died Wednesday at the Solomon Valley Rest Home, Stockton. Mrs. Miller was born Dec 21, 1885 in the Pleasant Plain Community, southeast of Woodston and was a lifetime area resident. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Woodston United Methodist Church. Her husband, James Henry "Bud" Miller, died Sept 18, 1967. Survivors include a son, J. Harlan Miller, Woodston and a daughter, Vera Idleman, Hays; a stepdaughter Gladys Benton, Whittier, Calif.; eight grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 pm today at Smith Memorial Chapel, Stockton, the Rev. Ralph Jones officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Plain Cemetery, southeast of Woodston. Friends may call at the funeral home until service time.
