Burton Thompson
MILES CITY, MT. -- Burton Thompson, 77, died Monday at Holy Rosary Hospital.
He was born at Sheldon, N.D., on June 16, 1893, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Thompson.
He and his wife Beth moved to Miles City 16 years ago where he worked as a laborer and night watchman at Pines Hills School.
Surviving are the widow of Miles City, two sons Norman of Pocatello, ID., and Arnold of Alexandria, VA., five brothers, Goodwin of Chicago, IL., Elmer of Fargo, N.D., Clarence of Sidney, MT., Johnny of Great Falls, MT., and Theodore of Miles City, MT., one sister Mrs. Jack Martin of Leonard, N.D., 10 grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Graves Funeral Home with the Rev. Gerald Ebelt of First Lutheran Church officiating.
Burial in the Custer County Cemetery, Miles City, MT.
